In the
heart of the Troodos Mountains, in Platers, the iconic Pendeli Resort has
reopened its doors after a sweeping renovation, signalling a new era for one of
Cyprus’s most beloved destinations. The transformation was led by Property
Gallery, the renowned developer also behind the acclaimed Petit Palais hotel.
The opening
ceremony drew prominent figures from across the island, including Cypriot
government ministers, the Mayor of Limassol, and other distinguished guests.
President of the Parliament Annita Demetriou addressed the audience with a warm
welcome speech, while Deputy Minister of Tourism Kostas Koumis officially cut
the ribbon.
Pendeli
Resort now offers a sophisticated retreat for rest and rejuvenation. The hotel
boasts 85 elegant rooms, including 11 luxury suites with private terraces
overlooking the pine-covered hills. Interiors are adorned with furniture and
décor from prestigious design houses such as Ralph Lauren, Roberto Cavalli,
Gianfranco Frattini, Casa Milano, Tacchini Italia and Linteloo. Adding a
cultural dimension, original works by renowned Greek artist Christos Tzaferos
(SIMEK) are displayed throughout the hotel — not only in the public
spaces but also in the guest rooms, offering each visitor a personal connection
to contemporary art within their own private retreat.
Wellness
takes central stage at Pendeli. An entire floor is dedicated to a spa and
fitness facilities, featuring a sauna, ice room, and top-tier gym outfitted
with Life Fitness and Hammer
Strength equipment. The
property also includes a 20-meter swimming pool with grill bar, the fine-dining
Ilios restaurant, Forest café with panoramic views, a cozy lounge with
fireplace, and a piano bar. Families are well cared for with children’s play
areas and a dedicated kids’ pool, while business travellers can make use of the
state-of-the-art conference hall.
The
reopening of Pendeli Resort is a cornerstone in Property Gallery’s broader
mission to rejuvenate the historic village of Platres as a premier mountain
destination. Beyond Pendeli, the company has already brought to life a suite of
hospitality and culinary landmarks in the village — including Petit Palais
hotel, Platres Arena, Cleopatra Le Bistro, and Petite Patisserie — each
contributing to the evolving cultural and gastronomic landscape of the region.
